HealthRight International seeks a dynamic, bright, and personable IT professional to manage our IT needs, including network and systems administration, E-mail Exchange server administration, File and Domain Controller Server Administration, Terminal Server and Remote Access Security and Administration, hardware and software rationalization, and desktop support. We are looking for a multi-tasker with superb communication and troubleshooting skills. This is a part-time, 20 hour per week position plus on call assistance as needed.
Responsibilities:
- Provide On-Site support and Administer 20+ Onsite Users & Computers, as well as users across our field offices.
- Ensuring that Network Servers are maintained and updated as required
- Administration of the E-mail Exchange Server
- Administration of User accounts and groups
- Administration and maintenance of Back-up systems, and keeping server images up to date.
- Assist with initial troubleshooting and diagnosis of systems hardware/software issues & demonstrate creative problem solving skills
- Document network problems and resolutions for future reference.
- Assist personnel of all departments as an IT resource.
- Manage the operation of a peer to peer network, server and storage dedicated to systems, including hardware and software installation, upgrades, service packs and patches, performs back-ups and recovery.
- Monitor system performance and stability.
- Maintain and update the inventory of all IT equipment, warrantees and software licenses
- Assist in website maintenance and updates.
- Manage and maintain the telephone system.
- Knowledge of web applications including HTML, Flash, and LAMP a plus.
- Must be able to impart instructions and to do in-services to end users on proper system operation and management.
- Must be able to set up security protocols for PCs and operating systems
- Must be able to maintain all mandated logs.
- Performs other duties as assigned by the Finance and Administration Director
Qualifications:
Bachelors degree in computer science of information systems. Three to five years experience in network, database, and IT help-desk management essential. Background in association or other not-for-profit environment preferred. Exceptional facility with Windows operating systems, Exchange Mail Server 2007, Windows Server, SQL Server, SharePoint, CITRIX implementation, CISCO network security, SONICWALL firewall maintenance, the Microsoft Office suite, and database development required, and familiarity with Postini, and Web site development Skills highly preferred. Must be able to demonstrate Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and interpersonal skills. Must also be able to demonstrate knowledge in setting up users, security groups, network policies, etc. Strong written and oral communication skills, a can-do attitude, superb organizational skills, ability to handle multiple projects and function in a fast-paced environment.
