We've Changed Our Name!
Doctors of the World-USA has changed its name to HealthRight International — a name that simply and powerfully reflects the principles on which we were founded 19 years ago: that health is a human right; and that health and human rights are inextricably linked, as our founder Dr. Jonathan Mann so famously asserted.
Our mission, values, and methods as well as our programs, partners, and priorities all remain the same. We are immensely proud of our history and all that we accomplished as Doctors of the World-USA. We are also enthusiastic and energized to continue our work under a new name and logo that so clearly convey what we believe and what we are about.
Our name and logo reflect who we are, who we serve and what we are working for — communities and individuals, doctors, nurses, midwives, community health workers, educators, social workers, public health experts and officials – all working together to build lasting access to health for excluded communities
We invite you to join us – our generous donors, dedicated partners, staff and volunteers, and the thousands of individuals and community members who are HealthRight International - as we continue our mission to ensure people around the world have access to care and services provided by their own community members, today and for years to come.
