HealthRight Featured in Science Magazine Special Edition on HIV/AIDS in Russia and Ukraine

In a special section of the July 9, 2010 issue of Science, contributing correspondent Jon Cohen examines the spread of HIV in Russia and Ukraine, which together account for more than 90% of the infections in Eastern Europe. Cohen and photographer Malcolm Linton visited researchers, clinicians, advocates and affected communities in both countries.

HealthRight’s work in Russia and Ukraine to combat the spread of HIV among street and at risk children and youth was featured throughout. The articles and photographs highlight the extent of the problem of HIV among this population, as well as the progress HealthRight and its local partners have made.
