HealthRight Hosts Secretary of State Hillary Clinton in Viet Nam

On July 22, a HealthRight project in Ha Noi, Viet Nam, hosted U.S. Secretary of State Hillary Clinton for the signing of the U.S. – Vietnam Partnership Framework. HealthRight is a key partner in the effort to stop the spread of HIV/AIDS in Vietnam and ensure those infected have access to care and protection from discrimination. Read more...  

Board Member Timothy Crowhurst Reflects on HealthRight's Work in Viet Nam

HIV Taking Heavy Toll Among Street Youth in Ukraine

A study to be published by HealthRight and the U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention in the current issue of the International Journal of STD & AIDS reports that one in five street youth in Ukraine are HIV-positive, far outpacing the rate of infections among the general population. On June 7, HealthRight and its supporters and friends gathered in New York for the 2010 Health and Human Rights Awards. Chaired by Dr. Paul Stoffels, hosted by Jon Meacham, featuring the participation of Anand Grover and presenting awards to the Levi Strauss Foundation and the Ha Noi Women's Union, the event helped to raise critical support for HealthRight's programs around the globe. Special thanks to Levi Strauss & Co for their generous matching grant of $25,000, which was matched and then exceeded on the evening of the event! Click here to see photos...
