PHOTO ESSAY: Preventing the Spead of HIV Among Russian Street Youth

Street youth in Russia face some of the highest rates for HIV-infection in the world. A recent study conducted by HealthRight International and its partners revealed that nearly 40% of the 10,000 youth living in St. Petersburg are living with the virus. HealthRight has responded with a comprehensive effort to give street youth access to HIV prevention and treatment services, including an innovative series of workshops designed to prevent new infections.
